I’m Lonie. I’ve been told that a journey of a thousand miles begins with one step and this is my first step into the blogosphere!  Taking that piece of advice, I’ve decided to blog my adventures in many things DIY as a way to share and connect with other who enjoy DIY!  I like to consider myself a jack of all trades kind of gal (not sure what that say about me though ;-0).  I am relatively new to the DIY scene, but and I absolutely love it and I’m hooked.

A little about myself; I was born and raised in good ol’ Green Bay, WI and I went to college in Milwaukee (I JUST had to get to the big city). At any given time I may profess my love and adoration for all things Packers and Marquette related.  I moved back to Green Bay in 2004 and have been here ever since.

In my fee time I enjoy a good rummage sale and farmers market with bestie Jenny.  I’m an amateur photographer, chef and baker (thank you to my dad and brother for being fearless and letting me try new recipes), music, food and movie lover, and avid reader, investigator, and pot stirrer. I enjoy traveling, but do not get to do it as often as I like to. Most importantly, I’m a daughter, sister and friend.
