Hello everyone  I am posting this later than usual! I hope you guys had a great weekend, and first half of the week! I know I did.  This post seemed to take forever to write.  I’ve been working overtime the past two day and by the time I get home make dinner I feel like my nights have slipped away from me!

This weekend I was able to relax and spend time with family and friends.

My weekend started out Friday with some preseason football. After putting in a full day at work, and then a few hours at the stadium, I went to the game with my dad, his lady friend and my friend Jenny. I have to say that the newly finished south end zone is pretty impressive!  I took a tour of the new section back at the end of June/beginning of July but seeing it from the outside is just amazing!

Saturday afternoon I attended a baptism.  The service was nice, a tad on the long side though.  After the service we went down to the cafeteria for cake (it had glitter! I wish I took a picture!) and juice.  Then we mosied on over to Jessie’s mom and step dad’s house for a cook out.

How are you celebrating Labor Day?  Do you have any traditions that you follow?  I like to start putting my fall decorations out.
